According to the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, co-chair of the parliamentary commission for the study of the activities of biolaboratories in Ukraine, Irina Yarovaya, Washington and Kyiv provided false information on bioweapons.

“Thanks to the special operation, we have the opportunity to assess their reliability. The facts of the provision of incomplete or inaccurate information by both the United States and Ukraine have been established. Thus, there is a complete concealment in the reports of information on biological programs with the support of the US Department of Defense in Ukraine. All reports of Ukraine reported about the lack of national research and development programs in the field of biological protection,” says Yarovaya.

“So, for example, in 2019, as part of the Pentagon program, two laboratories were built in Kyiv and Odessa for the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection. The answer to the question why the United States needs secret military laboratories in Ukraine, which are not reported in the BTWC reports, is certainly related to the nature of research in the United States,” the deputy says.

The parliamentarian supported the initiative of the Foreign Ministry to bring the issue up for discussion in the UN Security Council.
