In May, State Department spokesman Ned Price assessed the likelihood of a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. According to him, Washington believes that the time has not yet come for new contacts, “as well as for other contacts between representatives of the State Department and their Russian counterparts,” the State Department spokesman said.
