Zimbabwe looks forward to a visit by a Russian parliamentary delegation in 2023.

Zimbabwe hopes for a visit by a Russian parliamentary delegation in 2023, Jacob Mudenda, speaker of the national assembly of the republic’s parliament, said.

“We hope that a delegation led by the speaker of the State Duma will respond to my visit, and we will be happy to welcome him and the Russian delegation to Zimbabwe,” Mudenda said.

“It would be better if they (the delegation of the Russian Federation) arrived in the first quarter of next year, since in the second quarter we will be preparing for the elections, and this will be a busy period of our election cycle. The first quarter of next year would be better – it will be calmer” Mudenda noted.
