An explosion at a factory in Ankara killed five people.

Five people have died after an explosion at a missile factory in Ankara, Turkey’s National Defense Ministry told reporters.

An explosion occurred at the MKE rocket and explosives plant in Ankara on Saturday morning.

“There was an explosion at the MKE rocket factory in the Elmadag district of Ankara. Five of our workers were killed as a result of the explosion. A judicial and administrative investigation has been launched,” the ministry said.
