Parisian police stopped a pro-Palestinian rally at the Sorbonne.

Police expelled about 50 pro-Palestinian activists from the Sorbonne who were trying to blockade the university.

Earlier, several dozen people occupied the historic university building in the center of Paris, as well as its courtyard, setting up tents there. Young people protested against Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip.

Members of the French Parliament from the leftist party “Insubordinate France” Louis Boyar and Thomas Porte took part in the action together with the students.

Due to the actions of activists, the administration decided to cancel all classes and exams scheduled for Monday.

Previously, a similar action was carried out by students of the Sciences Po Institute of Political Studies together with representatives of pro-Palestinian associations. Several hundred people blocked the entrance to the building of an educational institution in Paris for 24 hours, demanding that the administration condemn Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip.
