The head of the South African Foreign Ministry announced the readiness of African leaders for a visit to Ukraine.

Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Africa Naledi Pandor said that the main points of the program for the visit of African leaders to Ukraine are basically ready, and to Russia is still being finalized.

“We already have the main features of the program regarding the Ukrainian part of the visit, we are completing the Russian part,” Pandor said, the video was published on the South African government’s news portal on Twitter.

South African Foreign Ministry Director General Zane Dangor said that South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and the leaders of five other African countries will visit Moscow and Kyiv in early June as part of a peace initiative. The founder of the Brazzaville Foundation and initiator of the mission, Jean-Yves Olivier, said earlier that the main goal of the mission of African countries in Ukraine is to initiate and assist in establishing a dialogue between the two countries, noting that negotiations through the mission of African countries will be held without preconditions, and the mission itself is the first of its kind, which both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky agreed to accept.
