Trump’s lawyers refused to further protect the interests of the politician.

Trump’s lawyers refused to further protect the interests of the politician.

Lawyers for former US President Donald Trump, Jim Trusty and John Rowley, said they would stop representing the politician in ongoing investigations against him, the lawyers said in a statement.

“This morning, we stepped down from our council positions under President Trump and will no longer represent him in the case or investigation (capitol attack) on January 6, 2020. We have been honored to defend him over the past year, and we know that he will be acquitted in its fight against the biased weaponization of the American justice system by the Joe Biden administration,” the statement says.

The lawyers said it was “time for them to step aside and let others see the Trump case through.”

“We have no plans to make media appearances about our recall or any other confidential agreements that we had with the president or his legal team,” Trusty and Rowley said.
