Vučić believes that Xi Jinping can help end some wars.

Everyone in the world has high hopes for the peace initiatives of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Chinese leader is one of the rare people who can really contribute to “ending some wars,” Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in an interview with China Central Television ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Serbia.

“To tell the truth, everyone in the world, no matter what they say in the public space, everyone has high hopes for President Xi’s initiatives to bring peace to today’s world. I know this well because I communicate with everyone,” Vučić said

According to him, Xi Jinping is “one of the rare people in the world who can truly contribute to ending some wars and establishing long-term peace.”

“I urge others to listen more to Xi Jinping’s words and make compromises to achieve reconciliation, because ultimately our common interests are peace and tranquility,” he said.

Earlier, the Vucic administration announced that the Chinese President would visit Serbia on May 7-8.
