The Democratic Party of the USA has published a report on the reasons for the loss to Trump

The National Committee of the Democratic Party of the USA published a report analyzing the reasons for the defeat of then-Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 elections.

In the November 2024 presidential election, Harris lost to Republican candidate Donald Trump.

The document claims that former President Joe Biden’s campaign headquarters failed to create the conditions for Harris’ success.

“For three and a half years, the White House did not provide Harris with effective support to strengthen her position until the moment the candidate changed,”  the 200-page report compiled by Democratic consultant Paul Rivera says.

The author of the report claims that the Democrats were unable to clearly explain to voters why Trump should not be re-elected as president. Instead of making arguments in favor of Harris’ election, her staff relied too much on the thesis that Trump’s candidacy was simply “unacceptable.”

The report caused sharp controversy and was sharply criticized within the party. Party officials initially refused to release the text, but it was eventually published with the following disclaimer: “This document reflects solely the views of the author, not the National Committee of the Democratic Party.”
