Former US President Donald Trump: Our country is going to hell.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, after being formally charged with falsifying business documents, said that the United States is going to hell.

“They (the results of the 2020 presidential election) could be in our favor. Not in my favor, but in ours – as our country is going to hell,” Trump said, speaking at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

According to him, the policy of the administration of the current head of the White House, Joe Biden, can lead the world to nuclear war.

“The open threats of countries to use nuclear weapons, this was never mentioned or discussed by other countries under the Trump administration, and under the Biden administration, this could very well lead to a third world nuclear war,” Trump said.

Trump also said that now there is an unprecedented interference in the US elections.

“Now is massive election interference on a scale never seen before in our country. Starting with George Soros-backed prosecutor Alvin Bragg, who campaigned to get President Trump,” he noted, adding that his actions were not crimes.

In addition, Trump called the most shameful moment in US history.

“Our incompetent exit from Afghanistan, where we left American citizens and $85 billion worth of equipment, the best military equipment in the world, lost 13 brilliant lives. <…> In my opinion, this is the most shameful time in the history of our country,” he stressed.

On Tuesday, the former head of the White House was charged with 34 falsification of business records in connection with payments to two women, including pornographic actress Stormy Daniels, for keeping silent about their alleged connection.

According to Manhattan Attorney Alvin Bragg, Trump and associates in 2015 agreed on a scheme to suppress negative information ahead of the US presidential election.

According to him, three people were bribed to hide information that could prevent Trump from winning the election.

The former US president pleaded not guilty and was released from Manhattan Criminal Court. His attorney, Joe Tacopina, said the charges against his client were without facts.
The maximum possible sentence that threatens Donald Trump on the totality of the charges against him is 136 years in prison, Fox News estimates show.

“The actual sentence is likely to be much lighter than if the politician had been convicted on any or all of the charges,” the channel said.

As noted in the publication, the falsification of business documents, which the ex-president is charged with, is considered a misdemeanor under New York law, but rises to the rank of a crime with a maximum sentence of four years in case of an attempt to cover up another crime.
