The first daughter f the USA shuts her fashion company because of the poor sales, SkyNews said on Wednesday. People showed no interest in Ivanka Trump’s brand since 2016 when the brand started to suffer a backlash.

Ivanka Trump eponymous brand had enjoyed a sharp rise in sales in 2016 but has been dropped by several retail chains, the Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus department stores both axed her line last year, blaming slow sales after pressure from activists to boycott shops doing business with the Trump family. he most recent failure happened with Ivanka in July when Canadian retailer Hudson’s Bay phased out the brand.

Despite Trump’s oldest daughter has been encouraging US companies to pledge to hire American workers after her company was accused of using foreign workers to make its products abroad, she has to close down her fashion business after the brand suffered a backlash when her father became US president.

“After 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington,”

she said and explained that making this decision now is the only fair outcome for her team and business partners.
