Japan will support Ukraine with generators and solar panels.

The Japanese Foreign Ministry announced the provision of emergency humanitarian assistance to Ukraine totaling $2.57 million in the form of generators and solar panels.

“Today, November 22, the Japanese government decided to send emergency assistance in the amount of about $ 2.57 million as measures to support the energy sector in Ukraine in the winter,” Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi said during a press conference.

As the days get colder and shorter, this support is very important for those who cannot use heating or lighting equipment due to power outages, the minister said.
