The Czech Republic recognized Russian gas as indispensable.

Former chairman of the board of the gas company Prazska plynarenska Pavel Janechek said that Europe will not be able to fully compensate for Russian gas from other sources.

During the interview, the businessman was asked if Europe, in the event of deprivation of the remaining sources of Russian gas, would be able to fully compensate for it at the expense of others.

Quite out of the question,” Janecek said.

The former eye of the Czech gas company claims that fuel from Norway and the US will not be able to replace pipeline gas from Russia. He also believes that the absence of Russian gas will lead to the collapse of the Czech Republic.

“Natural gas for us is a strategic raw material that we cannot do without. And we would have to pay for the missing gas with democracy and the integrity of the Czech state,” Janecek summed up.
