Britain will allocate 3 billion pounds to support the maintenance of the country’s nuclear arsenal, follows from a review of the kingdom’s defense strategy.

The total amount that will be allocated over the next two years for the replenishment of ammunition stocks and the modernization of the nuclear sphere is 5 billion pounds.

“Of this new money, £3bn will be invested in nuclear defence, including the construction of industrial infrastructure at sites in Barrow and Derby, as well as the Nuclear Weapons Research Establishment,” the document said.
