The Minister of Labor of Uganda was shot dead by his own bodyguard.

Minister of Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations of Uganda, Charles Okello Angola, was shot dead by his bodyguard on his way to work.

“He was shot at his residence in Kanja by one of his bodyguards, who allegedly fired several shots at point-blank range,” police said, adding that the bodyguard fled the scene and later committed suicide.

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology of Ugada said that Angola was on his way to a cabinet meeting when he was shot dead.
