Zelensky is ready to accept the head of South Africa, who proposed a peace initiative.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said he wants to come to Ukraine with a peace initiative, Sergei Nikiforov, a spokesman for Volodymyr Zelensky said.

“During a telephone conversation between Volodymyr Zelensky and President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa said that he wanted to come to Ukraine as part of a mission from several African countries,” he said.

At the same time, it is specified that Zelensky welcomed “such a peaceful initiative.” He is ready to receive distinguished guests in Ukraine, to listen to their proposals.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said earlier that on behalf of African countries he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, who agreed to accept the mission of African leaders with a peace initiative.
