Biden and Trump are equal in terms of voter support.

Biden and Trump are equal in terms of voter support.

Current head of state Joe Biden and former US President Donald Trump would receive the same number of votes in the presidential election. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the research service of Quinnipiac University Poll.

According to these data, 46% of respondents each voted for Biden and Trump. “In a country that is on the verge of splitting on issues of war, the economy, abortion, immigration and the very survival of democracy, there is one common ground – there is no clearing between the candidates [for the presidency]. It’s a draw,” the research service website quotes analyst Tim as saying Malloy.

The survey was conducted from April 18 to April 22. 1,603 registered American voters took part. The error was 2.5 percentage points.

The US presidential elections will take place on November 5th. Trump has already received the required number of delegate votes to become the Republican candidate for the presidency of the United States. Biden, who is running for a second term, has secured the support of a sufficient number of delegates from the Democratic Party. Thus, the fight will predictably unfold between the same candidates as four years ago, when Biden defeated Trump, who was seeking re-election.
