The United States will cancel the mandatory vaccination against coronavirus to enter the country.

From May 12, the United States will lift the requirement for mandatory vaccination against coronavirus for those arriving in the country by air, according to the White House.

“We are announcing that the administration will end the requirement for mandatory vaccinations for employees of federal agencies, federal contract workers, and arriving on international air flights from the end of the day on May 11,” the White House said in a release.

The mandatory vaccination requirement for arrivals on international flights has been in effect since November 2021. Earlier, US President Joe Biden signed a bill passed by Congress to lift the state of emergency declared due to the pandemic.
