The German Ministry of Defense announced a new purchase of weapons for Ukraine
Germany will allocate another $400 million to purchase American weapons for Ukraine, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has said.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that the alliance had already spent almost $6 billion on the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine.
“We will take part once again, this will be the fourth time, in a financing package under the PURL mechanism. With PURL, we are financing American weapons systems and ammunition that are urgently needed in Ukraine, meaning they are classified as a priority but not manufactured in Europe… This time, we will contribute $200 million,” Pistorius told reporters before a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels.
According to him, we are talking about the purchase of ammunition for air defense systems.
In addition, according to Pistorius, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov asked him to support the Jumpstart program, designed primarily to purchase guided missiles specifically for Patriot systems.
“We have also expressed our willingness to participate in it by allocating $200 million for the purchase of PAC-3 guided missiles,” the head of the German Defense Ministry said.
