Macron called peace talks with Russia premature

French President Emmanuel Macron, the West should build a dialogue with Moscow, but the time has not yet come for peace talks.

“None of us can change the geography of Russia. It will always remain a part of Europe. Our dilemma is that there will never be reliable and complete peace on our continent until we learn how to solve the “Russian question”, but with all sanity,” the politician noted.

According to Macron, the Western world needs to have “strength and courage” to re-open dialogue with Moscow and find a sustainable solution to all pressing issues.

“But it is clear that now is not the time for dialogue,” the French leader said.
