The United States announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine.

The United States will transfer a large shipment of ammunition, weapons and military equipment to Ukraine as part of a new $2.6 billion aid package, the Pentagon said.

$500 million worth of property is allocated from the presence of the US military, another $2.1 billion is allocated for new purchases.

In particular, it is planned to transfer to the Ukrainians ammunition for Patriot and NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, HIMARS and Grad multiple launch rocket systems, shells for artillery pieces of 155 and 105 mm caliber, shots for various caliber mortars, tank shells of 120 and 105 mm caliber, 23 million small arms rounds.

The aid package also included TOW and Javeline anti-tank systems, grenade launchers, air defense radars, repair and recovery vehicles, trucks for transporting fuel and heavy equipment, nine vehicles with 30mm automatic cannons to combat drones, armored bridge layers, high-precision aircraft missiles, satellite communication terminals.
