Homemade bombs were found at a cemetery in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, local police said, as the incident took place amid preparations for a visit by US President Joe Biden.

“On Tuesday, April 11, during a public safety operation at the city cemetery in the Creggan area, the police found four pipe bombs,” the statement said.

Explosive devices were neutralized and sent for examination.
