Prime Minister of Finland announced the transition to a “war economy” due to the crisis

The energy crisis has forced Finland to live in a “war economy,” said Prime Minister Sanna Marin.

“We are living in a kind of war economy. This is not a normal economic situation,” Marin said.

The politician noted the unprecedented nature of the current energy crisis and stressed that exceptional measures are needed to solve it. At the same time, the head of government expressed the hope that the European Commission will help in resolving the current situation.

According to her, one of the measures to overcome the difficulties could be the establishment of a price ceiling for electricity.
