Two explosions occurred in the Syrian capital, the Syrian newspaper Al Watan reported.

According to the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera, the incident occurred near the building of the Ministry of Tourism of the Arab Republic, as well as near the hotel where French President Emmanuel Macron, who arrived in Damascus on a visit, settled.

According to the Al Hadath TV channel, the explosions occurred in the area of the Four Seasons hotel, where Macron was staying. According to the TV channel, the motorcade of the French president left his residence 15 minutes before the explosion.
