An unknown ball was found on the shore in Shizuoka, Japan.

In Japan, a suspicious ball with a diameter of about one and a half meters was found on the beach, presumably made of metal, Daiichi TV reported.

The object thrown ashore was discovered by a resident of the city of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, on Enshyuhama Beach. The woman called the police around 8:45 local time.

Access to the scene was closed, traffic in the area is strictly regulated.

Photos of the balloon were sent to experts from the Japan Self-Defense Forces and the Coast Guard.
