The main goal of Warsaw in the Ukrainian conflict is to prevent the Kremlin from restoring the empire. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak

According to the minister, the task of the Polish side is to maintain the southeastern border with Ukraine, and not with Russia.

“We all understand that if Russia conquers Ukraine, it will not stop there, because the Kremlin’s goal is to restore the empire,” he said.

Blaschak pointed out that the re-establishment of the Russian Empire in Europe is a very dangerous phenomenon. “The Russian Empire has threatened and is threatening the freedom of European countries, therefore it is necessary to firmly resist this aggression, hence the firm support, concrete, real support that we provide to Ukraine,” the minister stressed.

Earlier Blaszczak said that as many Polish citizens as possible should be trained in the handling of weapons and should be able to use them. According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, the new bill, which can simplify the process of obtaining permission for personal weapons for employees of law enforcement agencies and law-abiding citizens, will expand the knowledge of the population in this area.
