In Poland, electricity has risen in price by 700%

In Poland, the cost of electricity increased by 700%. It is noted that such a rise in price threatens to turn off night lighting in the country.

Poland is now calling on citizens for austerity. There is talk of closing offices, swimming pools and ice rinks.

“We will definitely introduce restrictions. For example, with regard to street lighting: perhaps we will turn it off at night or reduce it,” said the head of the settlement Ciechanow Krzysztof Kosiński.

Now the Polish authorities are trying to create heat distributors in order to increase the efficiency of energy distribution. Also, the country can create heating points for people who cannot pay utility bills.
