The Bundestag proposed a truce with Russia in a war that they unleashed

The German government should abandon the policy of sanctions in order to restore the export of Russian gas, said Bundestag deputy from the Left Party faction Sarah Wagenknecht.

“I advocate that we negotiate with Russia – even if it will be difficult for us and even if it does not please me – negotiations on the resumption of energy supplies through any pipeline,” she said.

According to Wagenknecht, Germany unleashed an economic war against Russia, and now Berlin will have to end it diplomatically. Such a decision will save the Germans from discussions about returning to nuclear power plants, she added.

The words of the politician were voiced in support of the demonstrations caused by rising fuel prices.

“I think people urgently need to take to the streets and protest,” she concluded.
