Residents of the UK criticized the authorities for organizing a farewell to Elizabeth II

The British, standing in line to say goodbye to Elizabeth II, criticized the London authorities for the “monstrous” organization of the event.

One UK resident reported that he had to stand in line for nine hours. He spoke about the stampede and the people who fainted.

Another person who attended the farewell ceremony complained about the lack of toilets. In addition, the organizers took away all the water.

“I thought there would be a riot at some point. We waited several hours without food or water. The way we were treated was just monstrous,” said one of the Britons.

Earlier, the UK authorities said that the waiting time in line could take about a day. Farewell to Elizabeth II takes place at Westminster Hall, and the funeral is scheduled for September 19.
