A new generation processor, Loongson 3A6000, was introduced in China.

China on Tuesday introduced its own new generation computer processor Loongson 3A6000, China Central Television reports.

As the TV channel notes, the Loongson 3A6000 processor uses an instruction set and architecture independently developed in China, and does not depend on the use of any foreign licensed technology.

“The (processor) presentation demonstrates that China’s independently developed central processing units have reached new heights in terms of autonomous controllability and performance, with performance reaching the level of leading international products,” the statement said.
