Bolton called on Israel to destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

Former White House national security adviser John Bolton told CNN that Israel should consider “destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons program” in response to an Iranian attack.

He said the attack was a massive failure of containment by Israel and the United States. In his opinion, Israel’s reaction to Iran’s actions should be “much stronger.”

“Almost certainly at this point none of the (Iran fired) missiles have contained nuclear warheads, but you can never tell when the next attack, the next salvo of ballistic missiles, may contain nuclear warheads. So among the many targets that What Israel should consider is the possibility of destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons program,” Bolton said.

He expressed the hope that US President Joe Biden will not try to dissuade Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from this.
