Burbock was horrified by the joint photo of Erdogan and Putin

German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock criticized the Turkish President for taking a photo with Russian and Iranian counterparts.

This week, Vladimir Putin, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ibrahim Raisi held trilateral talks in Tehran.

“The fact that the Turkish president is in this photo is, to put it mildly, a challenge for NATO, so to speak,” Burbock said, adding that it was “simply incomprehensible.”

In addition, she commented on accusations of “sluggish supplies” of weapons to Kyiv, assuring that Germany “has no goal to deceive its European neighbors.”
