Byron York calls loss of Democratic support a bad signal for Biden

Most US Democratic Party supporters do not want to see President Joe Biden as a candidate in the 2024 election. This looks “not very good” for him and is a bad signal, according to expert Byron York.

The latest poll showed Biden losing Democratic support. Thus, only 25 percent of Democratic Party supporters want the current president to run for a second term in 2024. 75 percent believe that another candidate should run for the next presidential election. Of these, almost a third are confident that Biden will not be able to win against the Republicans.

“It does not look very good, by the way, this poll is no exception. We have had other polls that show that the majority, the vast majority of Democrats would prefer someone else to be their candidate,” York said.

The biggest problem Americans face is high inflation. In turn, according to him, people do not have the feeling that Biden is coping with difficulties. Many believe that the 79-year-old president should step down as head of state.
