Call centers for energy suppliers in Germany can not cope with the influx of angry calls from the Germans

German customer service desks at utility companies and energy supply firms can’t handle the flurry of calls from customers who are outraged by another rise in energy prices.

Ingbert Liebing, head of the local utilities association VKU, commented on the situation: “We have an increase in the number of desperate customers in customer support centers. Some become aggressive out of annoyance, others are in tears and need psychological help.”

Due to the uncertainty with gas supplies from Russia, fuel prices in Germany continue to skyrocket. In early September, Gazprom announced that it was forced to stop the pipeline due to the discovery of an oil leak at the Trent 60 unit.

To date, this is the only working unit. Due to the current situation, Europe is losing up to 33 million cubic meters of gas per day.
