Chinese Ambassador Lu Shaye says China is ready to use military measures to return Taiwan

For the sake of the return of Taiwan, official Beijing will take any measures, including those of a military nature. This was stated by Chinese Ambassador to France Lou Shaye in an interview with the Livre Noir newspaper. According to him, China has always perceived Taiwan as Chinese territory.

“Taiwan is not a sovereign state, it has been an integral part of China since ancient times. <…> We will take Taiwan by all means, including military. If we cannot reunite the country peacefully, what can be done?” Lu Shaye said.

Earlier, China protested to the United States over the passage of an American attack aircraft over the Taiwan Strait. According to him, the actions of the United States are a deliberate intervention in the situation in the Taiwan Strait in order to destabilize it.
