Erdogan called on the Islamic world to step up efforts on Gaza.

The Islamic world must step up its efforts in unity to stop the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

“During the telephone conversation, relations between Turkey and Qatar, global and regional issues, Israeli attacks on Gaza and the humanitarian situation were discussed. President Erdogan said that the Islamic world must intensify its efforts in unity to stop these brutal attacks by Israel and ensure that Israel is punished for his crimes against humanity,” the Turkish leader’s office said.

Erdogan held a telephone conversation on Monday with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Temim bin Hamed Al Thani.
