Finnish prime minister passed drug test

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said at an urgent press briefing on Friday that she herself had been tested for drugs and the results would be in a week.

“First of all, I want to note that in recent days there have been serious accusations in society that I was in a place (where drugs were used) or that I myself used drugs. Today I took a drug test, the results of which will be known in about a week,” – said Marin, the briefing was broadcast by the press service of the government.

She noted that she did not use drugs even in her teens.

Marin said that Cabinet meetings do not take place in the middle of the night and there is always an opportunity to contact her.

“Meetings (of the government) do not meet in the middle of the night. If you need to contact me, I am always ready to complete work tasks,” she stressed.
