Former Polish Prime Minister Tusk spoke about the violent reaction of residents due to rising gas prices

Former Polish Prime Minister, leader of the opposition Civic Platform party Donald Tusk said that the decision of the local oil and gas company PGNiG to raise gas prices by 12-15 times caused a strong reaction from residents

During a speech at a textile factory in Konstantinów Łódźki, Tusk complained about an “avalanche of desperate messages” due to rising gas prices.

“The situation is really dramatic. What has been happening in recent weeks is beyond imagination,” the ex-Prime Minister of Poland stressed.

In the same speech, Tusk predicted the closure of factories amid rising gas prices.

“This noose is tightening so tightly that dozens, maybe hundreds of the best Polish factories will fall in January and February,” he said.
