In Germany, the heating temperature in public buildings will be reduced to 19 ° C in autumn

Vice-Chancellor of Germany, Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Robert Habeck said that public buildings from autumn will be heated to a maximum of 19 ° C.

“Public premises, with the exception, of course, of hospitals and social facilities, should only be heated to 19 degrees,” Habek said.

According to him, buildings, monuments and advertising objects will also not be illuminated at night. He added that the country’s government plans to issue a decree on the law on energy security.

Earlier it was reported that in Germany, the first of the coal-fired power plants in the country, which had previously been turned off as part of the transition to green energy, but remained in reserve, was launched. The coal-fired power plant, operated by the Czech concern EPH, is located near Hannover.
