Inspector General of the German Armed Forces Eberhard Zorn said that the recent “successes” of the Ukrainian troops cannot be seen as a full-scale counter-offensive.

“I’m careful with terms,” ​​he said.

According to the representative of the Bundeswehr, at best, we are talking about “counterattacks, with which you can take control of settlements or individual sections of the front,” but this will not affect the fact that the Russian Armed Forces are thrown back on the fronts.

At the same time, he doubted the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to counteroffensive.

“They need a superiority of at least three to one,” Zorn said.

The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, said earlier that the military of the DPR and Russia repelled attempts by Ukrainian troops to attack near the village of Shchurovo.

He also said that the Ukrainian military three times a day unsuccessfully tried to establish a crossing across the Seversky Donets River.
