Iran called for an investigation into the activities of US biolabs.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry calls for an investigation into reports of US military biological laboratories in Ukraine and other countries, believes that they violate Washington’s international obligations and pose a threat to humanity, Nasser Kanaani, spokesman for the department, wrote on Twitter.

“Published reports about US military biological laboratories in Ukraine and in some other countries cause serious concern. This activity is contrary to the international obligations of the United States on the issue of the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons and poses a threat to humanity. An impartial international investigation is needed,” Kanaani said.
