President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that he would not be against the help of the CSTO in the event of an invasion of the territory of Belarus, but he hopes that the republic will be able to repulse the aggressor on its own.

“Of course, we will never mind if, God forbid, this happens. We will not refuse help. But, you know, I think that we will not have to involve the CSTO even in this case. You can’t even imagine how can we answer,” the Belarusian leader said, answering a journalist’s question.

“Who needs it, I said: here we will not discuss the problem of a “dirty” or “clean” nuclear bomb. We will answer in such a way that not only Europe will tremble. And it’s not just us – these are our agreements with Russia, our joint group of armed strength,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
