More than 30 British government employees have already resigned in less than a day.

A string of resignations in the British Cabinet began with the departure on Tuesday from their positions of two key ministers in the Johnson government – Treasury Secretary Rishi Sunak and Health Minister Sajid Javid.

After that, deputy heads of various ministries, a number of parliamentary deputy ministers and more than ten private parliamentary secretaries of British cabinet ministers resigned.

Earlier it became known that the British Conservatives, against the backdrop of mass resignations, will discuss on Wednesday a change in the rules that do not allow the removal of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, a vote on changing the leadership of the party is possible in a week.
