The United States should change its attitude towards Russian President Vladimir Putin, Fiona Hill, adviser to the former White House owner Donald Trump, said in an interview with journalist Lex Friedman.

“We need to have strategic empathy for Putin. We need to understand how he thinks and why. You know, he acts in his own context, has his own framework and rationale for his actions. We need to understand this,” she said.
