Scholz said that Germany will not act alone in support of Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Germany would never act alone in support of Ukraine and would focus on allies.

According to him, after February 24, Germany abandoned the principle that existed for many decades, according to which the country did not supply weapons to crisis regions.

“And I also said that we will provide what we have in stock. And we will see what can be delivered with the help of our industry, but we will never go alone, but will always be guided by what our allies are doing,” he said.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected his government’s accusations of indecision on the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine, saying during a visit to a military training ground in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein that Germany had already supplied this country with a lot of weapons and would continue to do so.

According to the chancellor, Germany will continue to support Ukraine with financial resources and weapons.
