Scholz will travel to the Middle East to conclude agreements on the supply of energy resources

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is going on a trip to the Persian Gulf countries on Saturday to conclude new agreements on the supply of energy resources.

The chancellor will be accompanied on the trip by a representative delegation of business circles.

It is noted that Scholz hopes not only to conclude agreements on the supply of liquefied natural gas, but also to expand cooperation in the field of new technologies. In particular, this concerns the production of environmentally friendly hydrogen.

The chancellor’s task also includes expanding political cooperation with the countries of the region.

Within two days, Scholz will visit Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, where he will meet with the leaders of these countries.
