The absence of conclusions from three Western investigations of the Nord Stream explosions suggests that someone is clearly trying to hide them, said the former head of the French military mission to the UN, General Dominique Trencan, said on the air of the LCI television channel.

“The fact that the gas pipeline belongs to a Russian company makes it clear that its explosion is not beneficial for Russia. It is surprising that Germany, Sweden and Denmark have already investigated the explosion, but, nevertheless, we have not received any results. And the absence of any conclusions means that it is unprofitable for someone to publish them,” he explained.

In addition, according to Trencan, the article by Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh on the responsibility of the United States and Norway for undermining the Nord Stream can be considered reliable, since anyone can check the routes of the ships referred to in the material.

Hersh on February 8 published an investigation into the explosions at Nord Stream. According to him, American divers planted explosives under gas pipelines last summer, during the Baltops 2022 exercise, and three months later, the Norwegians set it off. The Pentagon later said the US had nothing to do with the bombing.
