The US has imposed repeated sanctions against the FSB

The Ministry of Finance of the country says that the United States has imposed repeated sanctions against the FSB of Russia for illegally detaining Americans.

“We are announcing sanctions against the Russian Federal Security Service responsible or involved, directly or indirectly involved or responsible for ordering, controlling or otherwise managing the illegal detention of American citizens,” a senior US administration official said.

According to him, this is only the first step of the action program, there are other organizations and individuals against whom they plan to introduce similar restrictive measures, which are “being worked out right now.”

According to the representative of the White House, the FSB “repeatedly participated in the arrests, investigations and conclusions” of Americans, and Russian state publications allegedly publicly acknowledged this fact.
