Trump believes that Starmer will resign

US President Donald Trump believes that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will resign amid the failures of his migration and energy policies.

“Keir Starmer will resign as Prime Minister of Great Britain. He failed badly on two very important issues: immigration and energy,” Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.

Earlier, British Business Minister Peter Kyle denied media reports about Starmer’s intention to resign on Monday. On Saturday, the Telegraph newspaper, citing sources, reported that Starmer’s allies are convinced that he is preparing to resign, and may announce this as early as Monday.

About 100 Labour MPs called for Starmer’s resignation after the party’s failure in the local elections in May. Their number increased after Starmer’s rival, Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, entered parliament on Friday in an attempt to oust the prime minister from office.
