White Britons in prestigious universities are in the minority

The share of white students in the elite universities in the UK was less than that of any other ethnic group.

This happened for the first time in the history of the country.

The active policy of the British authorities to ensure “cultural diversity” has borne fruit. The share of black students in the country’s elite institutions of higher education is already 10.7%, the share of Asians (excluding Chinese) is 15.6%, and the share of Chinese is 40.7%.

The Office of Student Supervision monitors the efforts that universities make to achieve cultural diversity among students. Who keeps track of what happens to the level of education in the UK, when universities accept students with lower grades just because they are not white, is not reported.

However, not only representatives of ethnic minorities receive preferences for admission to British universities, but also socially vulnerable students. So, this year, 28.1% of students who received free meals at school entered universities.
